  "El Plan Nacional Integrado de Energía y Clima (PNIEC) se constituye como la herramienta de orientación estratégica nacional que integra la política de energía y clima con un horizonte temporal a 2030, de acuerdo con la normativa nacional y europea". En cuanto al automóvil, los objetivos del PNIEC y de la Ley de Movilidad Sostenible (LMS) se concretan en: 1.     “Reducir el uso del vehículo privado en entornos urbanos en un 41,3% hasta 2030 y de los tráficos metropolitanos del orden de un 1,5% anual". Medida 2.1, página 247. 2.     “Reducir el consumo de energía del parque automovilístico, a través de la electrificación del parque. Medida 2.5, Página 260. Objetivo 1: Se concreta en varias medidas (como la creación de áreas de bajas emisiones).  Por su alto precio y sus inconvenientes operativos, el coche eléctrico también contribuirá. Objetivo 2: “El PNIEC considera que se alcanzará un parque de vehículos eléctricos de 5.450.000 en 2030....

December 03, 2023   Introduction This article refers to cars only. CO2 emissions in Spain, due to internal combustion cars (ICV), have increased by 16% from 2000 to 2019. They are the cause of health problems in cities and contribute to climate change. On the other hand, the intensive use of fossil fuels would lead to a depletion of non-renewable energy sources over a historical period of time. Countries are making great efforts to limit the use of fossil fuels and the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. The electric car (battery electric car, BEV, plug-in hybrid, HPEV, fuel cell electric car, PCEV) is a necessary collaborator. The replacement of the ICV by the electric car (EV) will cause important transformations in the lives of users, automobile factories, energy enterprises, public authorities and society as a whole.
